An important historical piece, this dinar completes a two-year period of resistance by the city of Córdoba before being handed over by its governor to the Almohads and seeking refuge in Granada, dying there that same year. At the same time and in a new way, he mentions "The descendants of Tashfin" thus demonstrating his loyalty to this dynasty, honoring Ishaq Ibn 'Alí who died a year earlier fighting against the Almohads. A su vez y de forma novedosa hace mención a "Los descendientes de Tashfin" demostrando así su lealtad a esta dinastía, honrando a Ishaq Ibn `Alí fallecido un año antes luchando contra los Almohades.
