Lot description: 2017 £1 Gold Proof Two-Coin Set commemorating the change from the round pound to the 12-sided bimetallic pound. The obverse of both coins features the effigy of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. The round pound has a reverse design by Gregory Kenneth Cameron, depicting a lion, a unicorn, a stag and a dragon surrounding a crown, with the denomination "ONE POUND" and an edge inscription "DECUS ET TUTAMEN". The 12-sided £1 coin shows a reverse design by David Pearce, depicting a rose, a leek, a thistle and a shamrock emerging from a crown, with the denomination "ONE POUND" below.
