| Lot description: Group of Five: 1939-45 Star; Air Crew Europe Star; Defence Medal 1939-45; War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45. 437886 R.F.Pitcher. First two medals engraved, last three medals impressed. Court mounted, missing clips for pins on reverse and with sticky tape for mounting on board, first two medals cleaned and last medal with some contact marks, otherwise extremely fine. Pitcher's Service File shows that his medal entitlement for service in the RAAF was Defence Medal 1939-45, War Medal 1939-45, Australia Service Medal 1939-45. There is no mention of the 1939-45 Star or the Air Crew Europe Star.
