Pair to KIA: British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. 5683 Pte. W.G.Gordon 15 Bn. A.I.F. Both medals impressed. Ribbons damaged, otherwise fine - very fine.

Together with Mother's and Widow's Ribbon (AIF), missing suspension bar and lower bar; WWI Memorial fob in gold (15ct; 6.22g; 28x38mm), with ring top suspension, reverse inscribed, `Great War/1914 - 1918/In Memory of/Pte. W.G.Gordon/No 5683. 15th Batt./A.I.F/From Sharon Res'dts'; Anzac Commemorative Medallion 1915, issued 1967, in bronze (50x75mm) (C.1915/3) inscribed to D.A.Gordon (D.Gordon was brother of W.G.Gordon), in case of issue; another identical medallion inscribed to A.Gordon, no case. Andrew Gordon applied for David Gordon's Gallipoli Medallion on 14/6/1967 stating that he was his brother and next-of-kin. He applied again on 19/7/1967. It appears that he was sent one medallion inscribed to D.A.Gordon (should be D.Gordon) and another inscribed to A.Gordon. David Gordon was at Gallipoli and later was KIA at France on 10/6/1916. There is no record that Andrew Gordon served in the AIF.
