Group of Five: British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19; War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45; Commonwealth Military Competitions, Senior Cadets Brigade Competitions 1911-12. 10542 Dvr. S.H.Palmer. 3 D.Sig.Coy. A.I.F. on first two medals, NX107163 S.H.Palmer on third and fourth medals, Cadet. S.H.Palmer. 38th Battn. on last medal. The first two medals impressed, the last three medals engraved. Court mounted, a few contact marks and some spotty toning on third and fourth medals, otherwise very fine - extremely fine.

In 2001 Stephen Palmer's nephew applied for his WWII medal entitlement as his uncle was deceased and the whereabouts of his WWII medals was unknown. After completion of a statutory declaration and an application form, official replacement medals were issued.

Dep Med & Dental Stores.
