| Lot description: ISLAMIC, Umayyad Caliphate. Uncertain period (post-reform), AH 77-132 / AD 697-750. Fals (Bronze, 22 mm, 3.68 g, 2 h), Hulwan (?). Within two concentric dotted circles, 'lā ilāha / illā – Allāh / waḥdahū' ('There is no deity but Allah, the One' in Arabic); star at center. Rev. Within a dotted circle, 'Muḥammad / rasūl / Allāh' ('Muhammad is the messenger of Allah' in Arabic); around, 'bism Allāh ḍuriba hādhā al-fals bi Ḥulwān(?)' ('In the name of Allah. This fals was struck in Hulwan(?)' in Arabic). Album -. Extremely rare. Areas of weakness and with some deposits and a flan crack, otherwise, very fine.
