Great Britain
George III Counterstamped Bank Dollar of 5 Shillings ND (1799-1804) XF45 NGC, KM656, S-3766. Octagonal type II bust counterstamp (AU Strong) on (host) Mexico Charles IV 8 Reales 1796 Mo-FM. Much more infrequently encountered than the oval mark which we handle with greater regularity. Admittedly handled but very attractively toned with lemon and sky blue highlighting in the crevices.

Great Britain
George III Counterstamped Bank Dollar of 5 Shillings ND (1797-1799) AU55 PCGS, KM627, S-3765A. Host: Chile Charles IIII 8 Reales 1793 So-DA (cf. KM51, Cal-1022); Countermark: Type I oval bust of George III (UNC Detail). Satiny throughout with only mild signs of handling on this cabinet-aged specimen. The bold details of the host and countermark provide for a gratifying viewing experience. Specialists will note that the Chilean host is the most difficult to locate, so this top-pop beauty should attract attention. From the Colección Val y Mexía

British Honduras
British Colony. George III Counterstamped 6 Shillings 1 Penny ND (1810-1818) AU55 NGC, KM2, Prid-2 (different host). Incuse crowned GR in oval counterstamp (AU Standard) on a Mexico Ferdinand VII 8 Reales 1818 Mo-JJ. Rarely is this already fleeting British Honduras countermarked coinage offered in such prime condition. The stamp, paying loyalty to George III, is well above-average for the issue and the host is very attractive in-hand, wearing a cabinet tone that glistens from original luster beneath and touting practically complete detail from minimal circulation. Its hard to imagine too many more of the remaining survivors of this fascinating coinage have more visual appeal than example for offer here.
