POSTVMVS-AVG, radiate heroic bust of Postumus left, seen from front, club in right hand over right shoulder, lion head on left shoulder, strap across bare chest / PAX AVG, Pax standing facing, head left, with olive branch in outstretched right hand, transverse scepter in right hand. RIC V.4, 405. RIC V.II 319. Spectacular Herculean portrait of Postumus struck on a beautiful glossy deep gray patina. Ex Bob Klein History of Money Collection.
