Lot description: BAKTRIA, Local Issues. Circa 285/3-280/78 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 3.64 g, 6 h), uncertain mint in the Oxus region. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. Eagle standing left, head turned back to right; above, kerykeion and bunch of grapes on vine with leaf. Bopearachchi, Sophytes, Series 2A. HGC 12, -. MIG 26d. Nicolet-Pierre & Amandry, Trésor, 63-4.
