| Lot description: ISLANDS OFF CARIA, Rhodos. Kamiros. Circa 480-460 BC. Drachm (Silver, 15 mm, 6.06 g), Aeginetic standard. Fig leaf with two fruits on the stem and sprouts between the lobes. Rev. Two rough rectangular incuses separated by thin band. BMC 8. Boston MFA 2031. HGC 6, 1386. HN online 632. SNG Keckman 318. Rare. A perfectly centered example with a wonderful rendering of a fig leaf.
