Constantius II. AD 337-361. AV Solidus (21mm, 4.42 g, 6h). Antioch mint, 6th officina. Struck AD 347-355. Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Roma enthroned facing, holding spear, and Constantinopolis enthroned left, right foot on prow and holding scepter, together holding between them a shield inscribed VOT/ X X/ MVLT/ XXX in four lines; SMANS. RIC VIII 81; Depeyrot 6/3; Biaggi 2137 var. (officina). Toned, a few scratches and light marks, faint hairlines on obverse, tiny edge ding. EF. A well struck and captivating reverse.
