Antoninus Pius. AD 138-161. Æ Sestertius (31.5mm, 23.39 g, 5h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 141-143. Laureate bust right, slight drapery / Britannia seated left on heap of rocks, holding signum and spear, leaning on shield set on helmet. RIC III 742; Banti 44 var. (bust type); SCBC 640 var. (without spear). Rough dark brown surfaces. Near VF. Rare.
