Lot description: Titus. As Caesar, AD 69-79. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.50 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck under Vespasian, AD 79, to 24 June. Laureate head right / Venus standing right, viewed half from behind, leaning on column, holding spear and helmet. RIC II.1 1078 (Vespasian); RSC 332. Wonderful iridescent toning, faint hairlines.
