Lot description: INDIA, Kushan Empire. Hsi-Hou Kushan ("Heraios") or Kujula Kadphises. Circa AD 50-90. AR Tetradrachm (30mm, 15.16 g, 12h). 'Heraus' type. Diademed and draped bust right / Heraios on horseback right; behind, Nike flying right, crowning him with wreath; Σ AИ AB below horse. Loeschner fig. 6a; Cribb, Heraus 18 (O 12/R Va.2; Senior B1.2T; cf. Donum Burns 9; Sunrise –, but cf. 520-1.
