| Lot description: BITHYNIA, Kalchedon. Circa 260-220 BC. AR Tetradrachm (29mm, 16.84 g, 12h). In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; monogram in left field, grain ear in exergue. Price 926 (Kallatis); Türkoğlu –; HGC 7, 521; Black Sea Hoard 26 (same dies). Toned, underlying luster, slight die shift on reverse. Good VF. See U. Wartenberg & J.H.
