Lot description: SICILY, Syracuse. Second Democracy. 466-405 BC. AR Tetradrachm (24mm, 16.88 g, 6h). Unsigned dies. Struck circa 406-405 BC. Charioteer, holding kentron and reins, driving fast quadriga left; above, Nike flying right, crowning charioteer; in exergue, grain ear left / Head of Arethousa left, hair in sphendone; four dolphins around.
