Lot description: Constantius II, AD 337-361. AV solidus (21 mm; 4,36 g). Thessalonica mint, struck AD 355-361. Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from front / Roma seated facing, on the left, holding spear in left hand, and Constantinopolis seated left, on the right, holding scepter in left hand, right foot on prow, both supporting between them shield inscribed with VOT/ XXX/ MVLT/ XXXX; KTES in exergue. Two small scratches on obverse and lightly polished.
