Diademed, draped bust of Mithradates I right; bead-and-reel border / BAΣIΛEΩΣ / ME-ΓAΛOY / APΣA-KOY / ΦIΛEΛΛ-HNOΣ, diademed, nude, beardless young Heracles standing left, skyphos in extended right hand, cradling club on left arm draped with lion skin; XAΔP monogram in exergue. Sellwood 13.2. Shore 35. Sunrise 260. Very rare. A boldly struck from Fine Style dies, this piece displays attractive radiating flow lines and brightly lustrous surfaces.
