Valentinian II. AD 375-392. AV Solidus (20.5mm, 4.41 g, 12h). Thessalonica mint. Struck AD 388-390. Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Constantinopolis seated facing on throne, head right, foot on prow, holding long scepter and globe; COMOB. RIC IX 64a; Depeyrot 39/3. Toned with some luster, minor marks, light deposits. Good VF. Very rare.
