PTOLEMAIC KINGS of EGYPT. Ptolemy II Philadelphos. 285-246 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26.5mm, 14.15 g, 12h). Uncertain mint 19, on Cyprus (Paphos?). Struck circa 261/0 BC. Diademed head of Ptolemy I right, aegis around neck / Eagle, with closed wings, standing left on thunderbolt; to left, ΠT above monogram. CPE 472; Svoronos 388; SNG Copenhagen 524. Deep iridescent tone, a few tiny flan flaws, some marks, scratches on reverse. VF.
