| Lot description: Arab-Byzantine, imitating Justin II and Sophia type, (c.late 7th century A.D.), AE follis (6.86 g), Gerasa (= Jerash) Mint, issued year 12, obv. Justin II and Sophia enthroned, rev. capital M, cross above, A under M, traces of retrograde NIKO below, XII left, crude strike as usual for this mint, (S.-, cf.Grierson 612, Kovacs IX lot 376).
