Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Head of horse left, date palm tree with fruit behind, [MHSBM] ("quaestors" in Punic) below. Jenkins, Punic 341 (O110/R279). HGC 2, 295. Good Very Fine; rich old toning; old scuff at top of head on obverse; attractive unusual style. Well centered and well struck on full even flan. Rare. From a collection of high quality ancient coins formed in the American Midwest in the 1950s, carefully sourced from Spink & Son in London, NFA (Edward Gans) in NYC, and Earle Stanton in LA., among others.
