KINGS of PARTHIA. Vologases III. Circa AD 105-147. BI Tetradrachm (24mm, 13.84 g, 12h). Seleukeia on the Tigris mint. Dated 441 SE (AD 129/30). Diademed and draped bust left, wearing tiara; A to right / Vologases seated left, receiving wreath from Tyche standing right, holding scepter; year above, [month in exergue]. Sellwood 79 (for type; date unlisted); Sunrise –; Shore –; DCA 2 –; PDC –. Deeply toned with iridescence, traces of deposits, some roughness, obverse graffiti. Near VF. Struck on compact flan. Unlisted in Sellwood and Shore.
