ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28.5mm, 16.30 g, 12h). New Style coinage. Mikion, Euryklei–, and Aristo–, magistrates. Struck 124/3 BC. Helmeted head of Athena Parthenos right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates' names in fields, the Dioskouroi to right, [A on amphora], ΣΦ below; all within wreath. Thompson 476a (same dies); HGC 4, 1602; de Luynes 2106 (same dies). Toned, hairlines, light marks, scrape on reverse. Fine.
