Gar, Ogul, Ver. Denarius 86, AR 20 mm, 4.01 g. Head of Apollo r., wearing oak wreath; below, thunderbolt. Rev. Jupiter in prancing quadriga r., holding reins and hurling thunderbolt; above, D. Below, on exergual line, GAR and in exergue, OGVL·VER ligate. Babelon Gargilia 1, Ogulnia 5 and Vergilia 3. Sydenham 721. RBW 1329. Crawford 350A/1a.
Rare and in exceptional condition for the issue, possibly the finest specimen
known. Lovely iridescent tone and good extremely fine
