Didrachm circa 241-235, AR 19 mm, 6.75 g. Helmeted head of beardless Mars r., bowl decorated with griffin. Rev. ROMA Bridled horse's head r.; behind, sickle. Sydenham 24. RBW 38. Crawford 25/1. Historia Numorum Italy 297.
Rare and in unusually fine condition for the issue. Superb old cabinet tone, almost
invisible traces of overstriking on obverse, otherwise extremely fine

Ex Gorny & Mosch sale 240, 2016, 360. From a German private collection and purchased in the 70's from Frankfurter Münzhandlung E. Button.
