Lot description: Syracuse. Double decadrachm or 100 litrae circa 405-400, AV 15 mm, 5.79 g. ΣΥΡΑΚΟΣIΟΝ Head of nymph Arethusa l., hair elaborately waved and caught up behind in star-ornamented sphendone and wearing necklace, bar and triple-pendant earring; in l. field, pellet and behind, KA.
