| Lot description: Ancients SASANIAN KINGDOM. Bahram (Varhran) II (AD 276-293). AV dinar (21mm, 7.31 gm, 3h). NGC Choice AU 5/5 - 4/5. Draped bust of Bahram II right, wearing mural tiara with korymbos / Fire altar flanked by two attendants standing facing, turned outwards, attendant on left wearing korymbos, attendant on right wearing mural crown, each with grounded scepter in outer hand. Sunrise 765 var. (pellet below altar). Göbl type 1/1 var. (straight wings). Handsome portrait and fine details centered on a marigold flan.
