| Lot description: Ancients BITHYNIA. Cius. Ca. 350-300 BC. AV stater (17mm, 8.55 gm, 1h). NGC Choice VF 2/5 - 4/5, light marks. Agathocles, magistrate, ca. 340-330 BC. Laureate head of Apollo right / Prow of galley left, ornamented with star; eagle standing left to left, wings closed, horizontal club left above, magistrate name below. HGC 7, 550 (unlisted magistrate. SNG von Aulock -. SNG Copenhagen -. Extremely rare, apparently, with only seven known examples.
