IMP M ANT GORDIANVS AFR AVG, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gordian II right, seen from behind / VICT-ORIA AVGG Victory advancing left, wreath in raised right hand, palm in left. RIC IV.II 2. This stunning specimen features a finely rendered and striking portrait of the short-lived emperor, distinguished by its incredibly lustrous fields throughout. The coin is further enhanced by pleasing toning especially its golden hues that haloes around the devices, adding to its overall allure.
