VIRTVS EXERCITVS ROMANORVM, Soldier advancing right, head left, holding trophy over left shoulder and dragging captive, crouched right, with right arm CONSP in exergue, 4.49g (Cohen 79; Depeyrot 7/1; RIC 158), exceptionally well-preserved, detailed, residually lustrous, fresh and vibrant, very slight softening to beard on portrait, but otherwise extremely fine, staggering condition for a metal detecting find.
