Lot description: Indo-Greek Kingdom, Hermaios (c. 105-95 BC), AR Tetradrachm, Indo-Skythian Imitations (2): i) c. 90-75 BC, diademed and draped head right, rev. Zeus Mithra seated to left holding sceptre, making a benediction gesture with his right hand, monogram in left field, 8.79g (Mitchener 418), slight brass tone, good fine to very fine; ii) another, struck at KAbul, c. 80-75 BC, obverse as before, rev. Zeus enthroned left, raising hand and holding sceptre, monogram to outer right field, 7.42g (Senior, Hermaios 18T.1; Bopearachchi 10A; SNG ANS –; HGC 12, 298), darkly toned, very fine.
