| Lot description: a Group of Seleukid Tetradrachms (4): Antiochos I Soter (2): i) diademed head right, rev. BASILEOS ANTIOXOY, Apollo seated left on opthalamos, testing bow and arrow, one monogram to each outer field, one with a circle, 16.80g nice portrait, light tone, reverse worn, some porosity, good to fine; ii) another, as before, with a monogram to each outer field, 16.82g, nice portrait, slightly off-centre, reverse worn, good to fine; Antiochos III, 'the Great' (223-183 BC) (2): iii) as before, 16.88g, cleaned, bold portrait, softened reverse, with some corrosion, good reverse and fine obverse; iv) a before, rose to outer left field and a monogram to outer right field, 17.14g, cleaned, but with pleasing portrait, well struck, but worn and porous reverse, good to fine.
