INDIA. Kushan Empire. Huvishka (ca. AD 151-190). AE tetradrachm (24mm, 12.51 gm, 11h). VG. Gandhara, subsidiary mint (probably Peshawar), late phase, second part. ÞAONANOÞAO OOHÞKI KOÞANO, diademed Huvishka on elephant advancing right, elephant goad in right hand / APΔΟΧÞO, Ardoxsho standing in three-quarter profile left, nimbate head left, wearing diadem with ribbons to right, long-sleeved and ankle-length robe, cornucopia upright in both hands; tamgha in left field, dotted border. ANS Kushan 1014 var. (Mao as reverse legend).
