Justin II (AD 565-578). AV light-weight solidus of 22-siliquae (21mm, 4.05 gm, 6h). NGC AU 3/5 - 2/5, wavy flan, adjusted flan, clipped. Constantinople. D N IVSTI-NVS PP AVG, pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust of Justin II facing, beardless, wearing pendilia, Victory standing right on globe in right hand, crowning Justin II, shield decorated with horseman motif in left / VICTORI-A AVGGG ΘS, Constantinopolis seated facing, helmeted head right, grounded scepter in right hand, globus cruciger in outstretched left hand; OB*+* in exergue. Sear 351 (20-siliquae).
