KINGS of MAURETANIA. Juba II. 25 BC-AD 24. AR Denarius (18mm, 2.53 g, 6h). Caesarea mint. Dated RY 32 (AD 7/8). Diademed head right, club over shoulder / Nike, holding wreath and cradling palm frond, standing right on head of elephant right; RXXXII (date) to left. Spoerri-Butcher Group 18.b, 95 (F3/R4 – this coin, illustrated); Mazard 200; MAA 138; SNG Copenhagen 557. Find patina, slight roughness, some chipping around edge. VF. Very rare.
