ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 16.45 g, 11h). New Style coinage. Mikion, Euryklei–, and Arestos, magistrates. Struck 124/3 BC. Helmeted head of Athena Parthenos right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates' names in fields, the Dioskouroi to right, [letter on amphora], ME below; all within wreath. Thompson 489d (same obv. die); HGC 4, 1602; SNG Tübingen 1713 (same obv. die). Toned, some marks, minor scratches. Fine.
