CARTHAGE, First Punic War. Circa 264-241 BC. Æ Trishekel (31.5mm, 17.36 g, 12h). Carthage mint. Wreathed head of Tanit left; linear border / Horse standing right; palm tree in background; linear border. CNP 184a; MAA 44; SNG Copenhagen 190–1 var. (pellet borders). Dark green-brown surfaces, tiny green deposits, area of weak strike. Good VF.
