Av. + IhS XPS REX REGNANTIVM. Buste du Christ de face, avec nimbe crucigère, vêtu de la stola et du kolobion, bénissant de la main droite et tenant les Évangiles de la main gauche.
Rv. CONSTANT' CE ROMAN' AVGG b. Bustes de face de Constantin VII, avec une barbe courte, vêtu du loros, et de Romain II, imberbe, vêtu de la chlamyde, tous deux couronnés et tenant une longue croix patriarchale entre eux.
