GAUL, Nemausus. Augustus, with Agrippa. 27 BC-AD 14. Æ Dupondius (26mm, 14.65 g, 12h). Struck circa 16-10 BC. Heads of Agrippa and Augustus back to back, that of Agrippa wearing combined rostral crown and laurel wreath, that of Augustus bare / Crocodile chained to palm branch with wreath attached; two branches below. RPC I 523; RIC I 157; SNG Copenhagen 698. Olive green patina, light earthen highlights, flan adjustment marks. Near VF.
