INDIA, Kushan Empire. Huvishka. Circa AD 152-192. AV Dinar (21.5mm, 7.69 g, 12h). Subsidiary mint in Gandhara (Peshawar?).. Late phase. Nimbate, diademed, and crowned half-length bust left on clouds, holding mace scepter and filleted spear / Shaoreoro (Ares-Mars) standing right, holding spear and shield set on ground; tamgha to left. MK 266 (O1/R10); ANS Kushan –; Donum Burns –; Triton XVIII, lot 856 (same dies). Toned, slight double strike and small dig on reverse, evidence of having been placed in a bezel. Fine. Extremely rare.
