Lot description: BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom. Menander II Dikaios. Circa 90-80 BC. Æ (13x13mm, 0.93 g, 12h). Square module. Herakles standing facing, crowning himself with right hand, holding club and lion skin in left / Palms and pileoi (caps) of the Dioskouroi; monogram below. Bopearachchi –, but cf. 5C (for monogram); Bopearachchi & Rahman –; HGC 12, –; SNG ANS –; MIG –; CNG E-359, lot 146. Dark brown patina. VF.
