Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt, Ptolemy II Philadelphos AR Tetradrachm. Uncertain mint 19 on Cyprus (perhaps Paphos), circa 275-246 BC. Diademed head to right, wearing aegis; tiny Δ behind ear / ΠΤΟΛEΜΑΙOΥ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ, eagle with closed wings standing to left on thunderbolt; ΠT above ΓΑΥ monogram to left, Galatian shield to right. CPE 469 (no Δ); Svoronos 534, pl. B, 16; SNG Copenhagen -; BMC 86; Meydancikkale 3972-3973; Noeske -; Triton XX, 383. 14.17g, 27mm, 12h.
