KINGS OF THRACE. Lysimachos, 305-281 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 32.58 mm, 16.17 g) Byzantion mint, posthumous issue, struck circa 90-81 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great right, wearing horn of Ammon. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ vertical to right, ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ vertical to left. Athena draped and wearing long crested helmet, seated left, holding Nike crowning the king's name to left on her right hand and resting the left bent arm with elbow on the shield decorated with rays standing to right, spear diagonal behind, monogram to inner left, BY on throne, trident decorated with dolphins to left in exergue.
