INDIA, Kushan Empire. Kanishka III. Circa AD 267-270. CU Unit (19mm, 4.31 g, 11h). Main mint in Taxila. Kanishka standing left, holding filleted standard, sacrificing over altar to left; filleted trident to left; ga in Brahmi to right of altar; gho in Brahmi between legs; hu in Brahmi to right of scepter / Large tamgha within circular pelleted border. Cf. MK 1019 (for obv.) and 1020 ([Vasudeva] for rev.); cf. ANS Kushan 1646 (for obv.); cf. Donum Burns 653-65 (for obv.) and 727-8 ([Vasudeva] for rev.); Zeno #308174 . Earthen dark green patina. VF.
