INDIA, Kushan Empire. Kanishka I. Circa AD 127-151. CU Tetradrachm (25mm, 16.36 g, 12h). Subsidiary mint in Gandhara (Peshawar?). Unlisted phase. Kanishka standing left, sacrificing over altar and holding standard / Miiro (Mithras) standing facing, head left, raising hand in benediction; other hand on sword; tamgha to left. MK 796; ANS Kushan –, but cf. 632 (same); Donum Burns 185 . Earthen brown patina, hard green deposits. VF. Very rare.
