Lot description: ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (34mm, 16.81 g, 12h). New Style coinage. Adei– and Helio(doros), magistrates. Struck 147/6 BC. Helmeted head of Athena Parthenos right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates' names in fields, MH to lower left, trident to right; all within wreath.
