JULIAN II, A.D. 360-363. AV Solidus, Antioch Mint, 7nd officina, ca. A.D. 361-363. NGC VG. Wrinkled, Marks, Mounted.
RIC-199; Depeyrot-15/2 Obverse: Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bearded bust right; Reverse: Soldier holding trophy, dragging bound captive right. Mounted for suspension in antiquity, though the loop is now broken. This Solidus bears plenty of wear and marks from its time in circulation and jewelry use, but retains legibility and a clear mintmark along with an easily identifiable portrait of the famous apostate emperor.
