Lot description: PAMPHYLIA, Side. Macrinus. AD 217-218. Æ (33mm, 21.65 g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right; Є (mark of value) within circular incuse / Athena seated left, within distyle temple, holding Nike and spear; eagle in pediment. Unpublished, but two specimens in Berlin and Oxford. For c//m: Howgego 803. Dark brown patina, scattered marks. Good Fine. Very rare, this the only specimen not in a museum collection.
