Lot description: KINGS of PARTHIA. Vologases II. AD 76/7-79. BI Tetradrachm (28mm, 14.07 g, 12h). Seleukeia on the Tigris mint. Dated Audynaios 390 SE (Dectember AD 79). Bust left, wearing tiara; Γ to right / Vologases seated left, receiving wreath from Tyche standing right, holding scepter; year above; month in exergue. Sellwood 72.3; Sunrise –; cf. Shore 387 (for type). Toned, porosity, areas of peripheral weakness, slight double strike on reverse, possible graffiti on obverse. VF. From the Kamnaskires (Bob L.)
